In just a little over 40 days we will go to the polls on November 5th to vote in the elections!
There are several things on the ballot including (but not limited to) selecting a President, Legislators, Commissioners, and a couple of ballot initiative referred to as Prop 1 and a constitutional amendment known as HJR 5.
I wanted to send this Substack out with some helpful information based on questions I have been receiving over the last several weeks and then I also have a few asks at the end. I have had a lot of questions on how to find out information on judges. We really don’t have that information at this time unfortunately. “When in doubt, don’t fill it out” can be utilized if need be.

Prop 1:
I am encouraging voters to vote NO on this proposition. Prop 1 is about overturning our current elections and moving to a ranking system, commonly refereed to as Ranked Choice Voting, where the loser is the winner.

HJR5:
I am encouraging voters to vote YES on HJR5. HJR5 is a constitutional amendment that would state that only US Citizens who live in Idaho can vote in Idaho elections. You would think this is a no brainer, but we see what is happening in other states and so we want to make sure that Idaho is protected and codifies it in our State Constitution.
