Hi Vicki, thanks for the feedback. If you look at the actual bill, it's 4 chickens per .02 of an acre and the hoa has the ability to allow roosters or not and setting guidelines on how they are kept to eliminate those concerns.

Sen. Nichols, I think the chicken ate your decimal point. Should be per “.2 of an acre — two-tenths”. 🐓🍴 🤣 (I’m math challenged myself.)

22-1003. CHICKEN OWNERSHIP. (1) No deed restrictions, covenants, or

similar binding agreements running with the land shall prohibit or have the

effect of prohibiting ownership or pasturing of up to four (4) chickens per

two-tenths (.2) of an acre.

Sen. Nichols — As chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee, you’re probably the most knowledgeable person to answer (or investigate) this question…

Do you know whether Idaho’s potato crop is sprayed or otherwise treated with glyphosate (aka Roundup)? If so, our beautiful state crop could be poisoning those who eat our tubers 🥔.

Thank you!

I am sure there are crops that are using it.

How can we stop this? The science regarding the harms is strong. For example, start with this search and then type in the word glyphosate: https://childrenshealthdefense.org/search/

Thank you Tammy. You are doing a great job! I do take issue with chickens in people’s back yards. They are noisy and smelly. I know because I grew up on a farm.
